With over ten years of service in HM Forces (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers), Tingting supported both domestic contingency operations and international government initiatives. She is a Regulated Immigration Adviser and a member of OISC

She is passionate about investing in people, providing comprehensive training and resources to develop individual potential, and nurturing successful careers. AMY SIM

Amy Sim was a member in good standing with the ICCRC (RCIC – R419319) until she decided to resign from her role in 2013. With a solid foundation in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Law from Vilnius University, Lithuania, Amy initially gained valuable experience working within governmental institutions and collaborating with seasoned lawyers in the private sector in Lithuania. She also contributed her expertise in legal aid for those in need in the United Kingdom.

Her international experience has enriched her cultural understanding, and she is fluent in Lithuanian and Russian. After resigning from her role with the ICCRC, Amy joined Hanstar Global Consulting, where she has since been offering immigration services with a more coordinated approach, guiding clients through the complexities of Canadian immigration law.

Amy finds great satisfaction in helping individuals navigate the immigration process and realizes the importance of her role in assisting them toward their Canadian dream. She also dedicates a significant amount of her free time to projects that support the Canadian community.

KEVIN DOBSON

For over 35 years, Kevin Dobson has crafted thousands of catered events both nationally and internationally, designing unique experiences for corporations, private individuals, associations, and foundations. Through his companies—Presidential Gourmet and 43 Degrees Design Collective—he has earned a reputation as a passionate and empathetic leader in the event industry. Known for setting high standards of quality and care, Kevin has built a loyal following within the hospitality sector.

In 2019, Kevin took on a new role with Hanstar Global Consulting, introducing its services to hospitality leaders across Ontario. By 2020, he made the decision to resign from his individual role with RCIC to join Hanstar Global Consulting full-time, seeking to provide a more coordinated approach to talent recruitment. Now, as Executive Director of International Talent Recruitment, Kevin is expanding his reach across Canada and looks forward to introducing Hanstar’s services to the restaurant, catering, and hospitality markets nationwide. A bilingual Canadian, he is excited to continue fostering growth and opportunities in this dynamic industry.

Jason graduated from London, UK, with a law degree. Since joining the company, he has played a key role in shaping work environments, developing managers, building teams, training staff, and overseeing operations.

Christopher Slade

Christopher Slade holds a degree in International Hospitality Management from Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom. With a strong practical understanding of the industry, he has amassed over ten years of hands-on experience in both kitchen operations and front-of-house management across three continents: Asia, Europe, and North America. Originally from Barbados, he immigrated to Canada a few years ago on a work permit as a Food Service Supervisor through Hanstar Global Consulting, giving him firsthand experience of the process from both perspectives. Christopher is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the recruitment processes.

Yue Yin is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Hanstar Global Consulting, serving as the primary point of contact for the CEO. She manages the CEO’s diary, schedules, and organizes meetings—both virtual and in-person. Yue maintains regular communication with staff to keep them informed of key dates, deadlines, forward planning, and decisions. She also provides administrative support for various projects, overseeing them through to completion and conducting research to present concise and actionable information for the CEO’s review.

Yue completed her initial education at Pudong University in China and earned a diploma in Business Administration and Management in Canada. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and French.

With Hanstar Global Consulting, Emma continues to fully commit herself to delivering exceptional customer experiences through online business strategies and branding techniques, leveraging applied design psychology marketing. RUSSELL JOSEPH LEBLANC

Hanstar Global Consulting is pleased to welcome Russell Joseph LeBlanc as Corporate Sales Consultant. Mr. LeBlanc earned his Chef’s certification from Highbury Technical College in Portsmouth, UK. He was the first Canadian to receive the Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) accreditation from The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). With over forty years of experience in the hospitality industry, Russell began his career in Canada as a Chef at the Hyatt Regency. He later transitioned into banquets and catering when Four Seasons Hotels took over the Yorkville property in Toronto in 1978. Since then, he has built an impressive career in senior food and beverage management and operations with top hotels and convention venues. In 1988, as General Manager, he led the opening of Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia. His extensive experience in Canada includes executive roles at The Westin Hotel Toronto, The Sheraton Centre Hotel, Delta Meadowvale Hotel, Skydome (Rogers Centre), The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, The Toronto Congress Centre, and The Royal Winter Fair.

Russell brings a wealth of expertise in hotel openings, special event management, and logistics, covering both the planning and facilities side of the business. He was a founding member and past President of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Additionally, he served as Chair of the Toronto Entertainment District Association (TEDA) and has been a part-time professor in the hospitality programs at Durham College and Humber College. A Fellow of The Ontario Hostelry Institute (OHI) and a member of the SKAL Club Toronto, Russell also serves as a Foundation Board Member of the Abilities Centre in Whitby, Ontario. He remains actively involved in his community in Warkworth, Ontario, contributing to various fundraising and local initiatives.
